We design and make the credentials behind the moment of access. Wristbands at the gate. Badges at registration. Keycards in the lobby. The small piece of an event or a stay that's invisible when it works and a problem when it doesn't. We've been doing it since 1995 for thousands of events and hotels.

How we got here

ID&C started at a kitchen table in Tunbridge Wells, England, in 1995. Chris and Gill Wilkey set out to build the most respected wristband and credential maker in the world.

Four years later, we introduced the first cloth wristband at Glastonbury Festival - a product that's now everywhere in live events. The idea behind it stuck: take a small thing, design it well, make it well, and the moment it lives in gets better.

Thirty-plus years on, we continue to serve festivals, stadiums, conferences, theme parks, hotels, and resorts - anywhere a guest, a fan, or an attendee meets the moment they came for. All from our 15,000 sqr ft HQ in Bradenton Florida USA.

In 2020, ID&C joined CCL Industries under the Avery operating segment - two of the largest brand-services groups in the world. The backing gives us scale, supply chain depth, and material science most credential makers can't match. The way we work hasn't changed.

Milestones

Thirty years, delivering smooth access for hotels and events.

1995

Founded by Chris and Gill Wilkey at a kitchen table in Tunbridge Wells, UK.

1999

Introduced the first cloth wristband at Glastonbury Festival.

2005

Made the Make Poverty History silicone wristbands for Oxfam. Over 17 million sold worldwide.

2011

Custom RFID wristbands for Coachella, the first major festival to replace paper tickets with RFID access.

2016

Opened our first US office in Sarasota, Florida. Small room. Big plans.

2017

Pioneered the use of RFID wristbands as room keys for hotels and resorts.

2018

Bought our 15,000 sq ft facility in Bradenton, Florida - our American home.

2020

Acquired by CCL Industries, part of the Avery segment. Craig Bennett takes the reins as General Manager.

2021

First US patent - a smart dual-technology wristband, designed in-house.

2022

Launched Push Pass, our first digital product. Event fulfillment built by people who run events.

2023

Craig Bennett takes on joint GM of RFID Hotel, an Avery sister business.

2024

Launched InnStock and Event Pass - purpose-built digital tools for hotels and events.

2026
