Founded by Chris and Gill Wilkey on their kitchen table in Tunbridge Wells, England, ID&C entered the world in 1995 with a vision to become the most respected and forward-thinking wristband and credential supplier in the world. ID&C's passion for wristbands and its innovative approach to security print has helped the business realize this dream over the last 25+ years with established locations in the USA, UK and Europe. Since 1995, ID&C USA has pioneered the use of wristbands and badges for event security. Its passion for innovation and its unique in-house printing capabilities has enabled the company to become one of the world's leading providers of custom wristbands.
ID&C works across all event & entertainment industries, from festivals and sports to conferences and theme parks. Its products include Paper, Vinyl, Fabric, Silicone and RFID wristbands as well as lanyards and event passes. ID&C strives to always make the latest wristband technology available to its customers. With more events switching to cashless payments and faster access control with the use of RFID and NFC technology, ID&C is proud to be leading the way in innovative and forward-thinking concepts. ID&C also holds a number of patents on wristband technology developed in-house.
In 2020 ID&C was acquired by CCL Industries Inc., under the Avery operating segment. Avery leads the way in high-quality specialized label and packaging solutions for businesses and every day consumers. ID&C will assist in the continued expansion of Avery’s global presence as part of the CCL team.

1995 - ID&C founded By Chris & Gill Wilkey in the UK.
1999 - ID&C introduced the first cloth wristbands at Glastonbury Festival; a product that is now synonymous with festivals and events around the world.
2007 - ID&C created the silicone wristbands used for the Make Poverty History charity campaign run by Oxfam. It sold over 17 million units globally.
2011 - saw ID&C supply custom RFID wristbands to Coachella - the first large-scale festival to replace traditional paper tickets with RFID wristbands for access.
2016 - ID&C opened up its first US office in Florida.
2018 - ID&C purchased a 15,000 square foot facility in Florida – our new American home!
2020 - ID&C was acquired by CCL Industries (a world leader in specialty label, security, and packaging solutions for global corporations, government institutions, small businesses and consumers) and now forms part of CCL's Avery segment.
