Are plain Tyvek wristbands waterproof, or will they tear if wet?
They are water-resistant and designed for outdoor use. Rain, sweat, and handwashing won’t affect performance, but they are still designed as single-use paper-like wristbands and not suitable for activities involving full water exposure.
Are the wristbands suitable for one-day events or longer use?
They are best for single-day events or short-duration access (up to 24–48 hours). For multi-day use, fabric is a more suitable material.
Can attendees remove or reuse these wristbands once applied?
No. The adhesive closure is tamper-evident. Once applied, it must be torn to remove, preventing transfer between attendees.
What is the Tyvek material?
Tyvek is a synthetic material made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fibres. The fibres stick together without the need for extra glue. The Tyvek material feels and looks like paper but is more durable.
