Buku Festival, a two day electronic music event in New Orleans marks ID&C's first RFID festival project of 2013.
The festival used 18,000 of ID&C's RFID wristbands which worked alongside a fully contact-less access control system.
Buku, meaning 'much' or 'lots of' is a production of Huka Entertertainment, a Los Angeles-based talent and event management company whose festival roster also includes Florida's Tortuga Festival and Hang Out in Alabama.
Headlined by Kid Cudi, Nero and Calvin Harris, Buku marks the first of a string of US, European and UK festivals ID&C will be working with throughout 2013.
The Kent-based security wristband specialist last year supplied over 1.5 million RFID wristbands to music festivals and brand activation events around the world.
