The ID&C team are proud to announce it has been shortlisted for Supplier of the Year at the Event Production Awards. The nomination comes after the company's success with landmark RFID (Radio frequency identification) events and its support of the event industry through its annual Grass Roots Festival Bursary.
Last summer, the Isle of Wight Festival, Wakestock and Barclaycard Wireless became the first UK festivals to use cashless payments and contactless access control with RFID wristbands. Around the same time, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers performance at Knebworth House became the first live music gig to replace tickets with an RFID wristband solution. The event was powered by Samsung and Intellitix.
The Event Production Awards take place on Tuesday 5th February at the London Lancaster Hotel.
ID&C will be exhibiting on Stand D63 at the Event Production Show, 5-6 February at Olympia.
