Internet rumours that Oasis could headline Saturday night at this year's Glastonbury festival were sparked last night after a series of Tweets from ex-frontman Liam Gallagher.

The series of seemingly cryptic Tweets spelling out OASIS, were signed off in full in one final Tweet that simply read OASIS LG. Since then, popular betting websites have announced their suspension of any bets on the band playing the Saturday night headlining slot at the Glastonbury festival in June.

Social media has gone into a frenzy and bookies have suspended all bets on the Brit pop band reuniting for the festival.

A certain person in the ID&C office is buzzing with excitement, so much so that he just had to make a fake version of the Glastonbury line-up poster. What if? just what if?...

Rumour or truth? It really doesn't matter. It all adds to the excitement of the UK festival season, which is now well and truly upon us. Let the rumours continue!
